I'm New ... What Can I Expect?

If it's your first time at Grace Community Church, you are our honored guest. Here are a few questions and answers that will help you feel more at home at Grace and know that there is "A Place For You".

What Are Services Like?

We highly value the Scriptures so the teaching time is a prominent feature of our gatherings, with each sermon being somewhere around 45 minutes long. We encourage you to bring your Bibles to read along even though the Scriptures are shown on the screens.

For our Worship music we like to sing songs that point to Jesus and celebrate the gospel, whether that be newer contemporary songs or classic hymns.

What Should I Wear?

Our worship services are pretty casual. Some people dress up a bit, while many others simply wear jeans and a t-shirt. Our belief is that God cares much more about the condition of our hearts than our external appearance. If you join us for a service, please feel free dress however you feel comfortable.

What About Children?

God has blessed Grace Community with many skilled children's teachers and volunteers, and comfortable facilities for infants, toddlers, and children of all ages.  The first Sunday of every month is "Family Worship Day" and all the children stay in the auditorium for a special time of family worship before being dismissed for age-appropriate classes. The other Sundays offer a "Kids Praise" option beginning at 10:00 where the children worship together before meeting in their classrooms. Our excellent children's curriculum is from Answers in Genesis and it teaches our children to know, love, and apply the entire Word of God.
